Adam,

We loved you more than anyone has ever loved any puppy before, or any other companion. But we could not have done that if you did not love us back just as much.

We wanted to give you everything you could ever want. We are so sorry we did not spend more time with you, because you were always ready to spend time with us whenever we had a minute. Thank you for filling our lives with love and happiness.

We hope you love where you are as much as you loved your home here. We hope you have couches to jump on and balls to chase. We hope you give as many kisses in heaven as you gave us down here. We hope you have more treats than you can eat, and every breakfast is people food!

We love you SO MUCH. And we always will. Please send us your thoughts once in a while, and know that we will always, always, always remember you.
